What do we do?  We develop advanced methods for fMRI data acquisition and analysis.  That is, to elucidate the functional properties and organization of the human brain, we exploit deoxyhemoglobin as an endogenous susceptibility contrast agent to empower magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to report on local hemodynamic changes concomitant to neuronal activation.  So we work with our cherished collaborators to develop and apply exploratory data analysis methods for MRI, to further develop the biophysics of MRI, and to apply MRI to questions about the human brain.  And we drink coffee.
